"Just Crazy Enough..."
Steve Jobs was crazy enough to think he could replace main frame computers with personal computers. Are you crazy enough to take on the big challenges of this world?
 Just crazy enough... I am concerned about things. One of my major concerns is safety and emergency preparedness. You would think many others would be to. But looking at the actions of their day to day life... apparently it is not high on their list. I have sat on committees over the years. Municipal and School District related. I have had titles associated with those committees. We were charged with important work. The end result. Not much was accomplished. So I am looking for a new breed of man. The Crazy Men and Women who want to make a difference and actually think that they can! What does a crazy person look like? Well they are risk takers. They are willing to walk alone. Come along if you want but we are moving forward. Mike and Tyler are crazies. They would dress up in full body tights and go into the crowd at a sporting event and get the crowd going... They spend no time thinking about what people may think of them. They are themselves and they only passion is to be themselves excellently. Perhaps another word for crazy --- could be "dreamers". They think about how they can improve the world...how they make life better for others. This person goes to the end of the world to make a difference. They do not worry about looking back to see if anyone is following they just go. The work is important and inspiring. |
Crazies lead---even if no one follows.
Crazies go where few go.
Carl makes numerous trips to Haiti to work with the worlds poorest.
Throughout his life he has made over 300 trips to Mexico and Haiti taking teams or going it alone.
The work is important. Making life better for others is his DNA.
They are passionate folk. Make A Difference...is what they are all about.
So where does this take us. Crazies / Dreamers seem like they are in short supply. Yes...perhaps.
I am looking for some crazies to join me in ensuring our communities are safe throughout whatever economic or physical storm comes our way.
I am going whether you come along ...cause I am a crazy dreamer like those above.
